Program to limit or decrease the parking area on campus for the last 3 years (from 2018 to 2020)
Between 2018 and 2020, the Andijan Machine-Building Institute implemented a strategic program to limit or decrease the parking area on campus. The initiative aimed to reduce the environmental impact of excessive vehicle use and encourage more sustainable modes of transportation among students, faculty, and staff.
The program involved several key measures, including the reduction of parking spaces, conversion of certain parking areas into green zones or recreational spaces, and the introduction of incentives for carpooling, cycling, and the use of public transportation. By limiting the availability of parking, the institute aimed to promote a shift towards more eco-friendly commuting options.
Throughout the program’s implementation, the institute monitored the impact of these changes, ensuring that parking limitations did not negatively affect campus accessibility. This effort was aligned with the broader goals of sustainability and reducing the campus's carbon footprint.
