The Water (WR) category focuses on promoting sustainable water management on campus through a variety of water conservation practices, recycling systems, and efficient water usage.

  • Water Conservation: Initiatives to reduce water consumption through education and the installation of water-efficient fixtures.
  • Water Recycling: Systems to collect and recycle greywater for landscaping or non-potable uses.
  • Rainwater Harvesting: Infrastructure to capture and store rainwater for irrigation or other campus needs.
  • Smart Irrigation: Using sensors and weather data to optimize the water used for green spaces and landscaping.
  • Awareness: Campaigns to educate the campus community about water-saving habits and responsible water use.
