The Andijan Machine Building Institute is committed to sustainable waste management through its effective organic waste treatment program. A total of 583 tons of organic waste is treated annually, reflecting the institute's dedication to environmental responsibility. This volume includes:

  • Food Waste: 233 tons processed, with 35 tons reduced, 96 tons reused, and 102 tons recycled, minimizing contributions to landfills and enhancing resource efficiency.
  • Leaf and Similar Materials: 185 tons treated, consisting of 10 tons reduced, 25 tons reused, and 150 tons recycled, showcasing efforts to convert yard waste into compost or mulch.
  • Other Organic Sources: 165 tons of waste from various categories, with 50 tons reduced, 25 tons reused, and 90 tons recycled, promoting a healthier campus environment.

By implementing these strategies, the Andijan Machine Building Institute not only reduces environmental impact but also fosters a culture of sustainability among its students and staff, paving the way for a greener future.
